Turn outputs from alignment and setup into a clear story for leadership. The Business Case packages your hypothesis, workshops, governance, and metrics into one concise case. This helps align leadership and the rest of the business on why the system matters, who it's for, what it will deliver, and how it brings value.

How to

  1. Define the problem

    Summarise pain points framed around your Hypothesis Statement, and use outputs from Audit and Interviews.

  2. Highlight opportunities

    Pull outcomes from the System Vision or Risk Forecasting workshops.

  3. Show risks and mitigations

    Use outputs from your RAIDs workshop to address challenges.

  4. Explain structure

    Add your Governance Model, Contribution Framework, or system RACI.

  5. Show value

    Use Success Metrics to highlight potential ROI or time saved, or another measure, focusing on the impact of the system to the business, you can use Leadership Alignment to help inform these.

  6. Create roadmap

    Take the Now / Next / Future priorities from your System Vision workshop into a Roadmap Planning session to show phased delivery.
